Tsarskoe Selo opens a season of flowers and fountains with 45,000 bulbous plants grown in our Greenhouses.

9,000 tulips of 25 types, as well as hyacinths, decorative onions and daffodils, are already blooming in the Private Garden of the Catherine Park.

The Maids-of-Honour Garden by the Cameron Gallery has almost 10,000 bulbous plants, mainly tulips of 37 types.

After their wintering in the Greenhouses, standard roses will soon embellish the parterres along the park façade of the Catherine Palace, while its Main Courtyard will again be lined with laurel trees.

Besides the standard roses, the types such as Pierre de Ronsard, William Shakespeare, Thomas Graham, and Crocus with a delicate aroma, will be planted in the Catherine Park to bloom in June.

The rose types that will decorate the palace and pavilions include Flamingo, Red Cardinal, Olivia and Vivaldi.

Our main floral attraction this summer is going to be that of the Marble Fountain restored last year. Our florists will remake its decorations captured in late 19th-century photographs.
