Actual Questions of Museum Objects Restoration is the title of an academic conference held at the Catherine Palace of Tsarskoe Selo during 4-5 October 2021.

The conference commemorated the 20th anniversary of Russia's Museum Union and touched upon restoration and preservation in recent years of various museum objects from architectural monuments to paintings and decorative and applied arts.

Presenters included the St Petersburg Committee for Monuments Preservation, the State Hermitage, the Gatchina and Pavlovsk Museums, the Studio 44 architectural bureau, the Academy of Arts, the Ostankino Estate Museum, the Moscow University, the Tsarskoeselskaya Amber Workshop, the Renaissance and Vozrozhdenie Peterburga restoration companies. They addressed various issues of restoration and reconstruction of palace complexes, park pavilions, city quarters, palace interiors, as well as objects of art in museum collections.

Tsarskoe Selo's four presentations covered some aspects of restoration of the Imperial Farm, the Catherine Palace's Chapel and Chinese Hall, and the Alexander Palace.
