Two curators from our museum are awarded at Russia's 11th National Contest of Young Researchers in Arts and Culture.

Gleb Arlyuk, the curator of Tsarskoe Selo's arms collection received the second prize in the nomination Museology, Conservation and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Objects for his paper on Emperor Alexander II's Asian arms collection.

Ekaterina Borzova, the curator of Tsarskoe Selo's collection of objects with precious metals and stones received a diploma in the nomination  Theory and History of Art and Culture for her paper on the ‘Naryshkin treasure’ discovered in St Petersburg in March 2012.

The contest is organised by Russia's Ministry of Culture and Russia's Heritage Institute. This year, the award ceremony took place at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow.
