A concert of the Palaces of St Petersburg International Music Festival.

The first part of the Music of Kings concert is dedicated to Giovanni Paisiello, an Italian classical era composer. He was the most popular opera composer of the late 1700s and spent eight years at the imperial court of Catherine the Great after her invitation to St Petersburg in 1776. His work honouring the empress will be performed by the renowned Italian pianist Francesco Nicolosi.

In the second part, the symphony orchestra conducted by Christian Deliso will delight the audience with some of the most popular opera pieces, as we all as music from soundtracks to movies about kings, tsars and emperors.
