These New Year and Christmas holidays drew over 81,000 visitors to Tsarskoe Selo, making it the third most popular museum in Russia (after the State Hermitage and the Tretyakov Gallery) during the holiday week.

The Museum offered more that 2,000 guided tours, most of them at the Catherine Palace which worked long hours on 4 and 5 January and received more than 6,000 daily.

The private rooms of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Fiodorovna in the Alexander Palace had nearly 1,000 visitors per day, three times more than usually.

Our WWI Museum at the Martial Chamber and permanent displays at the Arsenal and Duty Stable were enjoyed by many as well. So were our parks, thanks to a beautiful winter weather.

Over 40 percent of the tickets were booked online, which greatly helped make the visiting experience most comfortable.
